Last March of this year, we got wind that Jordan Brand will be releasing one of its new Jordans, the Air Jordan 6 “Pinnacle” this coming winter. Almost five months later, Jordan release dates confirmed the arrival of the Pinnacle during the Holiday season.
Air Jordan 6 Retro Pinnacle Metallic Gold
Size Run: Mens
Release Date:October 22,2016
It’s not the first time that JB put up with a Pinnacle release. In fact, they did it with the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4 silhouettes. However, the Pinnacle colorway is only exclusive to AJ1s and AJ4s. But it seems that it’s not the case anymore. The new pair of Pinnacle Jordan 6s will be dipped in gold and is set to release by December. It’s all rumors at the moment but early images would have you think that since the AJ6 Pinnacle is already in the works, seeing in a few months later is not that impossible.
As of the moment, no detailed pictures of the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle have been released yet. But given the picture or two we’ve seen over sneaker news, this one looks much like the Oscars PE of Spike Lee. The Metallic Gold and White color combination are very striking as well. There’s no doubt that you’ll be noticed with the shine and bling that comes with the Pinnacle AJ6 especially if Jordan Brand would stick to using the Metallic Gold rendition for the upper.
Even without official images released, the teaser we got showed a silhouette similar to the unique Oscars of Spike Lee. But instead of a shiny gold upper through and through, early images of the Pinnacle Air Jordan 6 leaked from around the web told a different story.
For one, you get not only a White tongue and midsole, there’s also a convenient heel tab done in the same color. If we are to speculate, we might very likely see Jumpman brandings all over the heel, tongue, and insole dressed in the same gold. We might also get the Air branding as a sweet addition. The lace and lace lock is more likely to be dressed in gold, too. As for the outsole, we get a feeling that Jordan will do with an ice blue translucent one to offset the shiny gold-theme.
As a Pinnacle release, getting your hands on this new pair of Air Jordan 6 would be as difficult as the first releases. Also, fans should also check for upcoming Jordan release dates so you are updated of when to expect new models to hit the market.
