If you are tired of all the formally classic Jordan releases 2017, you should be happy about the latest Air Jordan 11 Low University Blue issue.
Air Jordan 11 Low UNC
Size Run: Mens
Release Date:April 15, 2017
Offering a much more upbeat colorway as part of the new Jordans, the University Blue is in the same iconic silhouette of the Bred but with a sunnier appeal.
Not really surprising considering how the shoes will be available in GS sizes. Consisting mainly of white and blue shades, the outsole is the only different shade as it displays a translucent hue.
The university blue is mainly located along the trim with the rest of the shoes kept white. Other shades of blue can be found on the middle-center of the tongue, displaying the undisputable Air Jordan name and logo. The rest of the tongue is kept pristine white, paired against equally pristine laces. The good news: the laces are white and rounded so replacing them should not be a big problem.
From the back, you can see the Air Jordan icon done in the same shade of blue. It is a little too small for our liking but fortunately, the white background makes it easy enough to see.
True to the Air Jordan 11 Low silhouette fashion, you can see the vertical lines working its way on the body of the shoes. This helps add depth to the overall design while the shade of university blue gives the impression of varying texture. The blue trim is placed on top of a white midsole and finally – a translucent outsole, opting for a layering approach.
Expected Release Date
The bad news is that you will have to wait awhile in order to get these kicks. Unlike the other Jordans today with a release date sometime in January or February, the University Blue is set for April. More specifically, you can expect these kicks in selected Jordan brand stores on the 15th of April this year.
The price of the shoes is a little friendlier than most as Air Jordan sets it at just $175. As mentioned, these shoes will be available in GS sizes. The main question, however, is whether these GS sizes will be in addition to regular sizes – or will the shoes be GS exclusive?
We’re kind of hoping that regular sizes will be available as well especially since the kicks are highly appealing in the ‘fun and play’ kind of way. Definitely a design that would be attractive for the kids and women, there is no reason why guys can’t have them as well!
