As much as we adore the Air Jordan line, the Nike brand itself is responsible for the design and release of exquisitely beautiful kicks in the market today. Case in point: the Nike ZoomX VaporFly with its powder blue upper and a red sandwiched midsole concluded by a white strip of outsole.

Product Color and Design
In all honesty, the color of the Nike ZoomX VaporFly is just secondary to its exquisite build. Marathoner Eliud Kipchoge came 25 seconds close to beating a two-hour mark wearing an elite version of the Nike ZoomX VaporFly. The Elite is built with ultra light foam that helps cushion the feet even as it maximizes runner capacity by reducing the drag weight. Specially created for marathon purposes, the Elite version is designed with full traction and high-end durability which is necessary for long-distance running demands.
Unfortunately, the “Elite” version of the Nike ZoomX VaporFly won’t be available in the market, but a scaled down version will be released as Nike ZoomX VaporFly 4%.
The 4% will be coated in “ice blue” coloring that in all honesty, borders close to a powder blue shade. Powerful colors of red and black are added into the design to help balance the pastel hue of the uppers. Forming part of the upper is the Swoosh design, made to be marginally larger than the typical icon. This one starts from the quarter panel and seems to reach the center part of the kicks along the line of the tongue.
The tongue also follows the same ice blue coloring with the words NIKE stitched onto the center, this time done in dark blue coloring. For the shoelaces, Nike used the same coloring, creating a seamless body for the kicks. This can be a drawback though as ice blue shoelaces are hard to find, just in case you need to replace them at some point. Hopefully, the kicks will come with several replacement laces.
The back portion displays two different statements. One has the word “racing” on the heels while the other has “00:00:00” inscribed onto the material.
Finishing off this eye catching design are clean white soles and a dash of red in the middle.
Price and Release
The Ice Blue Nike ZoomX VaporFly is currently the most popular today, but there’s actually a second colorway boasting of a black and white color combination. The Ice Blue will be out on June 8 with the White/Black releasing soon after. Hopefully, both will be available for the same price of $250.
